$1.91 In Waco Tx on Sunday. Hovers around $2.29-2.08 in Austin. Even the the Shell/Chervron stations are dropping to match the crap gas stations (H.E.B., Walmart, Sams Club), which I don't buy from.

I to am gonna fill all three tanks in the truck (65 gallons) and dump some Sta-Bil in em. Don't drive it much at 9mpg.
When a 10 isn't enough, get a 11. 80g Hardbagger

Doesn't matter who is elected, price went down due to reduced demand and to influence election. After the election, dollars to doughnuts it'll go up. Just paid $2.639 at Valero in Lakeport. Think Rotten Robbie is a couple cents cheaper. I wish they would just leave off the insulting 9/10 of a cent and call it $2.70. They think, probably correctly, that the American public are a bunch of morons.

Certainly the soccer moms are back in their Navigators, Escalades, Hummers and Yukon Denials. All they really need is minivans. Oh well...

Lady in a Navigator turned left in front of me. Looked me right in the eye and waited till it was too late for me to stop (25 mph) then cut me off. Luckily no one behind her so I could use the opposing lane to avoid collision. Chased her down and caught up at a stop sign. She had lacquered nails, bleached hair and one of those hairdoes that looks like she combed her hair with a pillow. I asked her why she cut me off. Lady says, "I'm sorry, I didn't see you. You must have been speeding."

I had noticed her bumper stickers: "My child was student of the month at Hilltop Middle School" and "Save the rain forest" so I asked her how the Navigator was helping the environment. She smiled and said, "Oh, my husband bought me the car." Realising that this airhead had obviously inhaled too much hairspray over the years, I just said, "How nice. Well, you have a nice day." "You too." she said as I rode away.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out and defiantly shouting, "WOW, what a ride !" - Sprung
