If I can make at least one person smile, or pee their pants a little, or maybe spit out their drink; then my day is not wasted.
John surprised me a year and half ago with the paint code for the New Ruby Red. One thing leading to another (one being the cost of any paint with red in it) it never happened.
Yesterday, he surprised me with everything needed to repaint my bike. She will be wearing new clothes this Spring!
I'll post pics when she's done.
Hi Kat,
New Ruby Red, eh?
You'd paint it to match your eyes but where to find beady paint?
Or there's what Cap'n Joshua Slocum said when asked why he was painting his sloop black.
"On the one hand, there's black. On the other there's the colours that fools paint their boats."
But what do I know with my rig painted Tangier Orange?

Not sure they make hazel paint, so I settled for a stock color.

Hi Wildkat,
thing is, beady paint wouldn't go through a paint gun, right? You'd have to apply it with a spackle thrower.
Mind you, our '88 Olds was painted Opalescent Metallic Sandalwood which has to be close to Hazel, even if the DMV lady couldn't fit all of that paint name in the little box on the form so wrote:- brown

When I was going through in-processing for the Army, they asked my eye color. Hazel apparently wasn't a good answer, so I had to pick a color. They happened to be brown that day, so I chose brown... They changed green shortly afterward.
