    Info regarding Subscribed Threads and Email Notices!

    Hey Folks,

    Just an FYI. When you subscribe to a thread, and a new reply/post gets made, the website will send you an EMAIL notification telling you about the new post. You can NOT reply to that email and have it show up in the thread you are subscribed to. Your email was sent using the site's ADMIN email account that we use for all ADMIN functions, and so the replies just end up coming back to ME when I review the ADMIN email for things like folks trying to get registered but can't, etc.!!

    SO..please remember, to reply to the new post in your subscribed thread you need to come back to the website, and use the REPLY button to post your reply, do NOT REPLY to the email with your email program!

      A New FORUM has been added!

      Hey Folks,

      In case you hadn't noticed, a new forum has been created to host the touchy topics ie. POLITICS, etc., that many members didn't want to have to read/deal with in the Member's Lounge. I posted a STICKY in the new forum explaining this, and the details regarding it's use. Thankyou for your attention.

            Missing Photos FOUND!

            Hey Rasputin,

            Thanks for that heads up on the missing photos. They were in a different section of the files system on the "old" sites files, and were deleted, but I had made a backup before the upgrade. Many of the files in the tech tips were actually in multiple locations on the "OLD" site's files, but I had noted a few that were not, so I backed them all up for just this kind of thing!

            THey aren't that big, but hopefully they'll help you in what you're trying to do!?

              more missing pics

              I was searching for some info to help out a member here and I came upon some more threads with missing pics. I decided to surf a little further and wrote down the threads I found. I dont know if the Moderators can still post the missing photos or not, but I thought if they dont know they cant fix it.                 Getting error message ...

                FF is saying that it can't log onto www.xs11.com ... as though my IP were blocked. When I load a proxy first however, I can get right on .... any ideas what may have happened here ..TC, JW? ... or moreover, how to fix it.

                This happened when I was searching the archives for a post and ... poof ... wouldn't load any more pages from xs11.com. Tried IE too ... but just 404
                errors. Cookies cleared, re-booted ... still nada, except through the proxy.

                    Pretty sure it's my problem here, olebkr ... but WTF? ... lol. It's almost like I blocked myself somehow .... ain't never done that before

                      Wiz, I\'ve been having the same problem here for almost a week, can\'t even get to the website, gotta use a proxy.

                        I had difficulty getting onto the site a few days ago using Explorer but was able to get on right after that using Firefox. Not sure if it was just a fluke or not...

                          can't get on unless using proxy

                          Sorry, Phil, but on the other hand, glad that it's not JUST me alone. I will have to consult my guru here in Wilkes I guess ... perhaps someone will see this and have an idea or two.

                            I have been having the same problem as thewiz now for about a month and everything I try does not help. The only way I can get on is through a proxy, and for some reason when I am using a proxy I cant see about 90% of the pics that are posted. If I knew how to change the IP of my router I would be I dont know how and dont want to screw it up, SWMBO get testy when I mess with things like that and cant get them to work instantly and it just never turns out well.

                              Have you done a traceroute? When I did while having trouble I found a router that stopped me short of the server. I didn't change the IP of where I was having trouble, the router just started working (couldn't change the IP, it's static and a mail server as well).
