Definitely planning a ride this weekend, got out for about an hour or so today. A little chilly, fingers did not like it. Otherwise a nice ride though.

I was playing around with the features of the board this morning and I created a social group named SWOXS. I'm not sure exactly how it differs from a normal forum or thread, but I thought it might be worth checking out.

        Thoughts? Opinions? Insults?

I can handle any of the above.

I hear you Don, I refuse to go anywhere near those places (nouns?). I figure this one is safe seeing as how it is part of a board we already know.

I really have no idea if, or how, the social group is any better than a typical thread. Time will tell.

it may eventually take over for this thread, who would've thought 6 months ago that this thread, predominately posted to by 6 or 7 guys would end up being 9 or 10 pages with over 130 posts to it? not me, I figured we'd all post 'til we got together and did the ride, then use various other means of communication, apparently I was mistaken, huh. I do think it's kind of cool that it has taken on such size, but if it drifts back a page or two, it might just be easier to find the social group and add there. I dunno, I'll probably use both, just for good measure. Have a nice day and ride safe

Gotta agree with Matt. The social group (why does that sound like a cathouse to me?) looks like a good place for general rambling conversation (which seems to be our favorite kind ). For setting up rides and such the general area would probably be better as more people should see it, and I we may get more participation. Anyway, cudos to Eric for using his noodle.

Lets not talk about weather around here or people will think we are a little strange

We are known for our wit and humor around here and we take our pickups seriously.........

Maybe I should hit the social group by myself

                      Lets ride........

Bill - And I had completely forgotten about Ellie Mae wanting to be a double naught too. Classic episode. I liked the train horns on the pickups too. Reminds me of some drivers I used to know (the pickups need more chicken lights though ).
