I have to agree with you on this one. It is a matter of personal preference, but I do like the linked brakes better. I think it's a much smoother, controlled stop especially in split second circumstances.

For general driving and easy stops, I still use my back brake most of the time. It doesn't make the nose dive like the front brake. It's just that I like to be what's deciding on how much pressure goes to the front when I need it. I realize that the majority of your dtopping power is on the front.

21.5 mph is the median fatality speed? Hard to believe... that's a slower closing speed than guys hitting in Rugby. Football also.. but the rugby players usually wear as much gear as I do a lot of the time! lol.

        Forget it Jerry...

On this list, a three-year study with a sampling of 200,000 incidents and computer similations amounts to less convincing than what Dusty said down at the Dew Drop Inn Bar and BBQ several years ago...

Let us not forget that 78.35% of all statistics on the internet are purely fictional, and of those, 38.45% are flat out lies.

And FWIW, the Single Tree Lounge or the Muddy Creek Saloon are far more reliable sources of information.

To skew or not to skew, that is the question.............I would say more like 99.999% on both counts these days. It didn't used to be like that 10yrs ago on the internet but it sure is the case these days.
