Never heard of it, never heard of a motorcycle with vapor lock either. I had a car that used to vapor lock consistently, it was old, had a mechanical fuel pump and was a piece of crap. I guess if one really wanted an electric fuel pump, one could put it on, but is the pressure more than the needle valves can hold back? I know, that ad says it won't cause flooding, but who really knows. I certainly could be mistaken, wouldn't be the first or last time but it seems a little suspicious to me, a useless trinket if you will. just my humble opinion, someone, anyone feel free to correct me. have a nice day and ride safe
I find that gravity flows more than enough some times and have never had a problem. I wonder how many would be fooled tho...

This thing came up on the forum a week or two ago and was deemed probable BS then. I see no advantage to have a fuel pump on a gravity system unless you can burn so much fuel under WOT that gravity cannot keep up. Certainly has'nt happened to me yet.

Once you un-can a can of worms, the only way to re-can them is with a bigger can.
Be sure to video that test for us.
I am wondering where your going to WOT non stop untill the entire take is gone
My bet is B
I have to go with B also. The motor will not use fuel faster than it can drain from the tank. I did a test before installing my in-line filters. ONE cock drained 12 ounces in 15 seconds. Consider there are two on the tank and I am sorry, the motor just will not drink up 24 ounces of fuel in 15 seconds at WOT.
BTW, did the test with and without the filters (Russell 40 micron). They had no effect on the fuel flow at all.

Geez, guys, that was rhetorical..."Anyone wanna bet on 'A'?" But thanks for weighing in.
I see fuel starvation threads on here periodically, and a kinked hose or other obstruction can make that happen. But guys who think the gas tank doesn't empty fast enough are dreaming...
Nice figuring, Ernie. Personally, I have never been able to break through that 200mph barrier.
