My wife's second cousin, Sue Ann and her husband Terry and another of my wife's second cousins, Pat (Sue Ann's brother) went on a motorcycle trip from the Chicago area to Florida to celebrate Pat's 40th birthday with his twin brother Paul.

Today (Sunday), they were returning home and came through Atlanta, GA. It seems that it was starting to rain, so they stopped by the side of the road to put on their rain gear. Pat walked up the side of the road to tend to a call of nature. Then, somebody driving too fast, lost control, hit another car and shoved it at full highway speed into the stopped cycles.

Sue Ann was killed on impact. Terry hung on for a while in the hospital, but lost that tenuous hold on life.

Pat (a long time XS1100 owner) watched his sister & brother in-law die.

    Need I say more?

                    Senseless...

I am so sorry for the loss to your family.
While it will not ease the loss, I hope the person who caused it is held accountable-with the law, and with their own fate.
