                    Thank you all.

Your care and interest in our time of shock and grief is comforting.

I am still numb with the idea that someone could cause such carnage and simply speed away. Early this morning, I was hoping that whoever cause the initial crash would be bothered by their conscience for a long time. However, now that I know it was a hit & run, I wonder if this person has a conscience at all.

The only slightly good thing is that I don't think that Terry or Sue Ann had any time to realize that anything wrong was happening at all. The noise of the rain, traffic & road spray would have masked the sound of one car bumping another on the road.

One of my good friends/co-workers, also a biker, was chilled to think of all the times that he has stopped on the side of the road for similar reasons.

                    Take care out there.

                            UPDATE!!!

The driver that caused the crash has been found!!!

There was no other mysterious car that drove off. It was, in fact, the 21 year old woman driving the SUV that hit the bikes that was driving too fast for conditions. She made up the story about being "bumped" and lied to the Police at the scene.

She has a rather long list of charges to deal with.
