My E came with the double bucket bought by the original owner when he bought the bike (I have the original bill of sale). I had this seat recovered.
I also bought a NOS seat off Ebay for the E. Found on a back shelf of a dealer.
My LG has the stock seat with a JCWhitney seat cover.
I may buy a special seat for the LG and modify the nose to fit a standard tank (painted black of course). I still have the original tank from my E after swapping for the 6.5 gallon Venture tank.Pat Kelly

I reciently bought and installed the Saddleman King Queen kit. It was easy to install, looks great, and improved comfort 100%. Best 135.00 I have spent yet on the TimeMachine!

I still have the stock seat. Its been recovered a couple of times. After 'bout a hundert miles, its like a rock. Thats why I like to ride with the Specials, they hafta stop every hindert or so for gas. I am looking hard (no pun) at one of the high dollar custom made seats. A FJR would be more comfortable but even a high dollar custom seat is cheaper. When a 10 isn't enough, get a 11. 80g Hardbagger

I had the seat on my 79 standard recovered and had a layer of closed cell foam put down first then covered by a layer of high density foam over that. I had the guy cover it with the instructions that I wanted it flat and the least amount of stitching possible. I'm sick and tired of going for a ride and ending up with a wet a$$.
I'd post a pic but the bike still looks like crap. I'm hoping to start working on it's appearance soon...
