planning on finally making this one

Been talking to John and Kat about making the MOM for a while. Now that I've got the freedom i need and the vac time, I can do it. Just voted for June so I can do XSEast and MOM. Looking forward to riding the South, I've never ridden down there, they tell me it's nice!

Randy, have you looked to see how far it is from you?

Depending on the map, it should only be a few inches Oh yeah, you don't have a map, maybe during XS East 09 you can pick up a bargain GPS unit

                  Now that would be cool!

I told Randy it would be a good chance to have the snowball effect... Y'all (that's Texan for "yous guys") start off in the northeast and add riders as you get closer this way...

A few inches? You need to get a smaller map... makes it much faster to get here...

                      Snowbirds coming South

Hey. I may be riding by then. Anybody coming through Alabama to get to Texas??? On the map I'm just a few inches away. Wildkat you need to warn them that once they come down South, they may never want to go home again.

yeah, thought you might relate to that one... John had to show me that it actually had to do with this white stuff that falls from the sky...
We get it... what? Maybe twice a year?

                          Wildkat and Mysticrider,

I've heard the same things about Massachusetts but it turned out to be false. Of course that info wasn't coming from a very reliable source.

                            Snowbirds

Yes I guess its only fair to tell them about the humidity and the 90 degree weather. It won't be they won't want to go home - they won't be able to. They will probably be in the hospital with "heat stroke" Let's hope they all come prepared. Protective gear will be a whole new experience for them. That's why they call this living in the "Bible Belt". You have to ride naked and just pray you don't fall. LOL

hey now... there's a lot to be said for Mass... I was stationed there for a couple of months and during that time I got to see my first TRUE color changing leaves in Fall (VERY spectacular to someone from a place where the only color change we usually see is green to brown)... AND the Aurora Borealis... It's also where I developed my love of the Bruins (since replaced by the Stars... who I no longer watch, either)... the Pats... and Larry Bird... So don't let one ma$$hole get ya down...

Been thinking 'bout this one too.If we get a group of riders who will get together and ride to Texas..and back I 'd love to do this.Just as long as we arent talking about doing an iron butt ride.Depending on what I am or am not doing...I'd like to make this event.I've been thru Texas many times even once on a m/c...back in the '70's...June will be pretty hot for the cities...and hot or not I'd still be ATGATT although it would be summer gearAs for riding naked...I'll bet you'd be suddenly visible to every cager out there... None of the gear none of the time....hee hee
