Okay... June is too dang hot to be working on bikes outside...
and since Wayne... our TeXSive rally master... is temporarily out of commission with a family project... we no longer have a regular Spring rally...

Since we try to plan around the car show (which we WILL get to go to one of these days)... it will be the 3rd weekend of whatever month we decide upon...

So... what month is good for everybody?

My vote is for May (Which I see isn't an option). Anything before that and you put the folks in the northern states with a chance of it still being wintery.... but I'll be there whenever you decide to have it. I'm easy! lol

If I want to even think about tring to make this it has to be in June. Just to cold for the distance any other time.

The middle of June is okay; It's a lot better than August. And yes, It's already hot, but the long days are nice. And of course, the end of Sept. is always a good time, but schools are back in session. I'll go with the team, I'm easy.

I am really gonna try and make it next time but June would also be better for me. The kid will be out of school and less pressure on SWMBO means better chance of me making it.

                June.
it has the most hours of daylight and it usually ain't quite as stinkin' hot as July & August.

Paul, not sure where you are at but it is about 1,430 miles from Toronto. Or you could add 150 miles to that and stop in Ely, IA (about 735 miles) on the way. I have spare bedrooms. Then Fred could come down from Saskatoon (about 1,216 miles) and we could all ride down together (about 850 miles).

                    Thanks Bob,
That's very generous of you. I'll certainly give it some thought over the winter.

                    Cheers,

We DO send him maps, and he starts his cooking fires with them. We just need to teach him how to READ the map.

                              Lucky for you...

heating igloos is pretty easy around here during the month of June... Your maps should be safe from that fate... although... the Texas heat has been known to cause spontaneous combustion...

Considering two of the April votes I already know can be moved to June (one was mine)... It's looking like June at this point...

and blue giant... if you do make it down here (you too Fred)... we'll throw some extra ice packs in the freezer for you so you won't melt...
