I don't want to see a redo of the xs1100, very few things have been redone without it being screwed up, GM re-badged a Toyota to the Nova, and Chrysler remade the charger as a four door station wagon. And you can't pull the plastic off a crotch rocket and call it a standard.

I wouldn't mind seeing a remake, as long as it was done correctly. something like what honda did with the CB1000 retro - Bike. I don't remember if it was a concept bike or what, but a Yamaha version with a similar flavor might be cool. Of course it would have to be an air cooled I-4, no V-Twins, even though that does happen to be the flavor of the month. Right now, the only V-Twin I want to ride is a 90 degree. On a similar thought, does anyone know, if Yamaha made a 90 degree V-twin in a sport tourer? My neighbor bought a bike last year or so ago, it's an 850 90 degree V-Twin and I can't remember who made it. I thought it was a Yamaha, but I just don't remember. I like the bike, sounds very Ducati - esqe. looks like fun to ride also, not a sport bike, but more a sport tourer. have a nice day and ride safe

I just read in the new Cycle World about a father and son team from Portland Oregon, who are building a race bike which they hope win all the race championships. If they ever put it on the street, like they plan to eventually do, I will be the first in line to buy one.
