Miles
My original 1979 XS1100 had 18500 when I crashed it and then sold it 2 years ago.
My '82 XJ had 27600 when I picked it up for $300 in very poor condition 2 months ago, today I added 100 miles of my own, the first of many! Finally the XJ lives again!

My 80 XS1100G
My 80 G standard has 24k. I bought it new in 80 in Omaha NE. It sat for 5 years without being ridden until 3 months ago. I put in a new battery, cranked it up, spit and sputtered junk out the tail pipes, rode it in the neighborhood(after inflating the tires), blew is out after it smoothed out, drained the carbs(nothing , no junk was present), synched the carbs, put in fresh premium fuel and have been riding it ever since. I had forgotten how strong this bike is. I shall never let it rest again. I also have a 96 Royal Star and a 20002 VStar Classic. Love riding the very different XS, the uncle of the VMax!!Turbodave:

the uncle of the vmax is right. well thats pretty damn close by any account. when I see a vmax, a little bit of the XS is still in there. Im proud to have a bike that I can classify as a wolf in sheeps clothing. You pull up on a vmax and the guy next to you knows whats up.. the XS on the other hand dosent really get a second look, until your blowing them out or staying right with them.(depends on what they are riding) but in that 2 to 3 block range where most of that type of thing happen, the XS is in fact a wolf in sheeps clothing.'80 XS1100sg "MadMax"

67156 km on mine... 190 of them mine. Waited for a week for the exhausts to get polished and chromed. It was cheap tho... $80 US for the material, consumables, polishing, chroming, paint (headers), welding, drilling etc... My friend and I did most of the work... except polishing and chroming. Will try to snap some pics.
LPIf it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game.

Right at 14,000 on my 1980 xs eleven. Bought it new, so all of `em were put on by me. Had it in storage for 16 yrs. Just got it back from a much needed restoration. Some times I go out to the barn and start her, just to hear that Jardine rumble. Hey! who`s that oldman riding a wheelie down the road?JJJ
