I'm flexible for a ride on either day so if Sunday looks just as good weather wise I don't mind changing days.

What does everyone else think? Elder won't be home until late today so that might give him a bit more time to go over his bike which he has yet to do this year.

      Saturday vs. sunday

Already have plans for sunday, so if the ride gets rescheduled for then, I'll have to catch up with you guys another time. It does look like it'll be pretty nice weather all weekend though.

I also have made other plans for Sunday so Saturday is what's good for me at this point.

            Saturday ride

Lets go for tomorrow guys . I have a bit of a ride in mind to go on that would not be far from home for any of us . I'll get your input tomorrow on some legs that I havent been on yet .
So far I have Arnprior to White Lake to Bunstown to Calabogie down the Lanark road (511) to Tatlock road (9) to Clayton to Hwy 7 into Carleton Place and on home (wherever you chose) .
I'm not sure about Tatlock RD . Google maps had me in the mud the other day. Cruising speed 100km/h ?

                    Dwyer Hill rd changed recently

At Arnprior, Dwyer Hill rd now stops at a cloverleaf . Turn right and you'll have to cross over the 17 and take the ramp to the westbound lanes . 2 more exits on 17 west and you'll see the truckstop on your left . Its a White/Western Star dealer .

                      Be Careful...

                      Have fun, guy's.

You may, however, want to re-think your choice of roads for a ride.

Many of those back roads still have 'winter residue' and, with all the snow we had this year, there's bound to be lots n lots of sand, etc. still lying around, especially on curves.

I was out today for a 150+ mile run and, even some of the main roadways had some slippery residue (i.e. sand) in the worst locations for us 'biker' types .

                        Thanks Ron,

We'll keep an eye out for that, if it's bad we'll skip over to 29 to get to Arnprior.

Hey Ted, park and ride lot is where to meet!

I also was wondering how clean the roads in the country are. A lot of the in town (Ottawa) main roads have been done but things are likely a little behind out there. Based on this a "run" through the twistiest routes is not likely the best choice just yet.
