East Ontario / West Quebec Spring Meet

Who's on the road ??? Shall we meet at some central coffee location for a ride and chat or chat and ride or whatever ?
Hoping to hear from the usual suspects and any new folks . I'm thinking meet at noon at some Tims ( we did Carleton Place before ) and as the weather is still somewhat cool , people could warm up and go from there or chat and go home . Feel free to suggest ideas as I'm just trying to get the ball rolling so we can get to know XS/XJ11 's in our area .

My carbs are fixed and no longer leaking fuel all over hells half acre! Oil and filter change is done. Going to change the gear lube and give it a quick wash and I should be good to go Saturday.

Just an idea but is the Antrim flea market open on Saturday ?
They have coffee ,food and whatnot . We always park our bikes just outside the blocked off entrance (western entrance ) . They are quite visible there and steps from the road .
Thats off 17 at the Kinburn exit .Head north and a quick right (east) on what used to be hwy 17 .

Sorry looks like they are only open Sundays

If were thinking Kinburn why not meet at the kinburn truck stop? It has gas, food, drink and bathrooms.

Great idea Rob . What would be a good time if everyones in ?
Noonish ? People could gas up , warm up , eat . etc if its too cold to do much riding . We have a whole season ahead of us . I was to Ompah today and still needed warm gear in the balmy temps .

If I recall the Antrim truck stop that used to be in Kinburn is now in Arnprior. Is this where we are meeting?

Thats right Paul . If its ok for you . The Antrim truck stop is now in Arnprior . Its former location (Kinburn exit) is the Flea Market (Sundays) now .
This is quite close to me so if you wanted to pick a place closer to you - its ok .
It will seem chilly on Saturday I imagine . I've been wearing long johns, draggin jeans ,leather chaps below and layers including a Forces issue wool sweater and fleese-lined balaclava etc.
So if you're up for it - the Truck Stop is visible from hwy 17 at the Flat Rapids Road - the second exit after the bridge , after the 4 lanes merge to 2 at Arnprior .
