  • This is depressing !!!

WOW ... Yesterdays snowfall was a real mental setback. I really envy you lads who don't see this sort of crap where you live. Some on this board will likely be using their bikes today.
In these parts it looks like we'll need some real warm weather between now and April if the riding season is to start anytime before the end of April :-(

    Cheer up Rob!

We'll be riding before the end of April!

Besides, we both have project bikes to complete first!

Just paint your knew honking snowblower the same colour that your bike is and then mount a set of side cover emblems on either side put you helmet on and get out there and dream , that might just keep the depression away haha!

Hey Rob, arn't you building a hopped up 1100? Waybe a chain drive mod and it could double as a snowblower power plant in the off season. Now that would be Xsive!

I grew up in Maine so I'm used to snow like that...you can have it...and the cold that comes with it.

I used to live in a place that got snowfall like that. But the snow chains on my bike kept getting tangled up in the sidestand.....so I moved to Louisiana.

10 inches of snow last night, took me almost 2 hours to clear my driveway and sidewalks, plus I do quite a few of my neighbor's walks. Have a 16 hp Gilson garden tractor with a blade, works well for clearing snow. Will have to get a photo of it tonight....

                            It figures

Supposed to be in the mid 80's here today, and I'm stuck digging up a sewer line in my back yard. At least the ground isn't frozen, and the line is only about three feet deep.

I'm stuck digging up a sewer line

Got down to the pipe and it started raining.
Stayed out there till I got the drain cleared good enough to use.
Now will get to finish (clear weather for a few days).
NO MORE TREES in the front yard.

Plumbing company wanted wanted $330.00 just to run a snake tru it.
Cost me $35 to rent one...would not clear the drain. Turned out to have 3 seperate clumps of roots in it.
