Air Force, '87 - 91. Aircraft weapons specialist "BB Stacker" during Gulf War, but didn't go there.

I wanted to go in and learn a trade I could use in the real world...but not too many jets to load weapons on in the civilian life! lol.

we are halfway into a 2000 mile motorcycle trip. we watched the blue angels fly the veterans day show at the nas pensacola yesterday. their final formation was a very sombering missing man fly over. we owe everything to the people who served this country in order make and keep it free. also as important to those who did not come back or are still in-country as a pow,
                    YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!

YES INDEED ... I fully support the troops from Both Canada and the USA. Their jobs are always far from easy and it seems these days ... always far from full appreciated.

I, too, give thanks and thankyou!

I, too, am a vet, 79-86 USN Corpsman, field trained with the Grunts, but was an Ophthalmology Tech/Surg. Asst, 2 years in Japan, final 2 years in Naval Hospital Portsmouth, Va.. Fortunately it was during a rather peaceful time, but I think we(USA) invaded GRANADA sometime in there?!

I also know that we have a member on this forum who lost a son to this WAR , so it hits everyone somehow!

Here's to hoping we can end it soon!

I feel lucky I was in during peacetime, but the reminders were still there in Europe. Lots of bombed out holes in the cities yet and no men over 15 yrs, but lots of women.
