      From Wayne:
      Who is this guy?!
Well, you gotta remember, this editorial review was written to their marketing and managers . . . to help them determine where/how to market the book. Taylored for the audience so to speak.

I actually got a good chuckle out of it . . . people are constantly mis-judging me, on the bike or not . . . just the facts.

Well, quite frankly, I feel that is an abhorrent act of misrepresentation, and extraordinarily exclusionistic.
        An it isn't true, either!

Looking forward to reading the book when it comes out.

Couple other MC books I've recently read:

Purple Mountains (Subtitle: America from a Motorcycle)
Notch Miyake is the author. Whitehorse Press is the publisher.

        Great American Motorcycle Tours
Gary McKechnie, author. Avalon Travel Publishing

The Biker Code (Subtitle: Wisdon for the Ride)
Stuart Miller and Geoffrey Moss, authors. Simon and Schuster.

        And, for local trips:
        Motorcycle Arizona!
Frank Del Monte, author. Golden West Publishers.

Of the 4, the first one, Purple Mountains, may be closest to Danny's style. The author is a biker who kept a journal of a long trip (east coast to Alaska and back) and the interesting people and places he met and saw. Very much first person and from personal experience. The Biker Code is snippits of sayings, slogans, and is kind of fun to read. One quote: "For some there's therapy. For the rest of us, there's motorcycles." The other two are guide books, interesting reading for the touring crowd.

Anyone else have some favorite recent reads?

Congrats on the book, I did not know you were writing one (or had written, to be more correct). When will we see it on the shelves?

Yes Jerry, I have ordered Ron Ayers book "Against The Wind". This is his detail record and story about his adventures during the 1995 Iron Butt Rally. I have heard good things about the book. I'll let you know how it is.
