I do agree with most on this post, although don't know why!

I've owned and own v's, apposed, inline, thumpers, two strokes and road just about everything, even the ones with the shifters and brakes on the wrong side......talk about riding a bike. Not too shabby for being a mid 70's model eh? Still want to ride a suicide though or even own one! Been on the road and in the dirt. Each has it's place and it's time. And non, did I not like!
Enough to get everyone mad.........???????? not following that one! But will do my best to post. The proof is in the pudding, right? Who was the first V and who is copying who?

I feel that a bike is a bike. I have found something endearing on every single bike I have owned. I had an old 750 honda that was the coolest "feeling" bike i have ever ridden. I had a vtx 1300 that was the most relaxing.

What really pisses me off is the people that turn their bikes into something else. I went to a huge rally a few weeks ago and saw thousands of people who were in love with themselves on their bikes. It disgusted me.

If a person loves to ride, then they are a biker. It does not matter if they are on a harley or a "rice burner". I love to ride. My bike lets me accomplish this goal.

Wannabee

I guess i must be a wannabee, My 2006 C90 looks like a HD, but it was half the price and out performs ,will outlast,is more reliable and is 2 inches longer. I have had a bike for 40 years now and bought this bike for comfort! I luv to ride and 12 to 14 hour days are not uncommon for me. For me its no longer about power and speed its the comfort and ride. In my younger days it was speed ,power, I had XS1100 ,Z1r 1000, 750 H2, all fast in their day. If you ride and like what you got then you dont need to diss anyone else and what they ride just enjoy what you have

Here's my issue with any conventional v twin: the rear cylinder is shielded from airflow by the front cylinder. Ducati does it right, but the (correctly) aligned fins on the bottom cylinder don't look very nice. Form follows function though...
