  • who do you ride with?

I just got back from an 8 hour ride over to Virgina with a group called the Southern Cruiser Riding Club. Does anyone on here belong to a different chapter of the SCRC? Who do you ride with: a club, just some friends?

Except for the occasional rally, I ride alone. I've always been kind of a loner and I enjoy being on the road by myself, even on long trips.
I do enjoy the occasional group ride. The annual Tahoe get-together is nice and Big Island "Deuce" was a blast (the ride there and back solo was theraputic).
This may be an advantage when I hit the road in a big-rig in the next week or two.

I agree Pat. Ride alone most of the time. SWMBO is scared of bike. Have 2-3 annual events that require group riding. I try to get out once a week 500-800 mile overnight trip. Stop.speed, ride at your own pace. End up wherever. Bike and rider is lots of fun. andreas

                    Mostly alone

Once in a while I get together with the guy who sold me the bike and go have a couple of beers then ride north along the beach.

There quite a few guys at work who ride but we haven't put anything together yet.

I just posted a nice route for a ride for the AL, GA, and FL Xsesives.

I am mostly a loner too. I do ride several times a week sometimes just for a few miles and other times longer.

I have my regular routes that take one, two or three hours to complete and then other times I love to just take a day off, leave at abour 5:00 am and go wherever. Take a road until it ends then make the choice...right or left? Get sunburned, get rained on, get lost and get back when I get back. Call it my stress relief.

My ride is a daily commute to work - about 20 miles one way. Haven't taken an extended ride yet but schools out in june.

                            I pretty much ride alone,
tho i do get bored sometimes by myself.
Id like 2 get into more group rides which
                            ive been sussing out lately.
