I agree that we're only getting this guy's version of the story, but if he (The biker) had been in the wrong, the car probably would have stopped.

Anyone who's ever driven a truck will vouch that when you're pulling 20+ yards of gravel, you sure aren't going to notice if you're dragging a few hundred extra pounds. He was probably paying attention to the intersection. In the tandem configuration he was in, a lot of people see the truck go by and go... not realizing there's more still coming.

It also shouldn't matter what "Brand" he was riding. It was someone on two wheels. I would only hope that if I ever go down, Harley/Honda/Triumph/Kawasaki riders wouldn't sit there and go.. "Oh well... need to thin those Yammerhammer riders out anyway!" Back in church (Yeah it's been a while) they say "Hate the sin, not the person" In this case, hate the brand if you must, not the rider.

This guy has to live the rest of his life with these injuries and millions of dollars of unpaid medical bills. Not to mention that he has to crap and pee out tubes... which means that with his unstable pelvis (Broken) there's obviously enough tissue and nerve damage to where he can't even process or hold waste... that "Other" things won't work either. Even if they did, the pelvis problems wouldn't allow it. This was a young guy. Every dream of wealth, stability, playing ball with his kids, sex... gone just like that. But since he rode a Harley...ehh... that's ok. ???

Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!

        Yea Verily Tod

There but for the Grace of God, go I.
The very reason I gave up motorcycles when I had runts at home. I lost three good friends, in as many years, to bike accidents, and not once did I think it could not have been me a hundred times over.
One idiot is all it takes, and it matters not what the guy was riding.
Anyone can second guess and Monday morning quarterback, but just when you think you are bullet proof, or your $hit don't stink, reality will rise up and slap you down in an instant.
