    Prayers needed!

    Wildkat's Mom was taken to the hospital yesterday morning with a mild heart attack. She is 82 yo and has some history of conjestive heart failure (CHF), and she thought that this was another bout of CHF. After all the testing was finished, it was determined that she did indeed suffer a mild heart attack. She had stents inserted today, and now there are some issues with low blood pressure. Kat has been spending most of her time at the hospital, and will probably be there most of the night.
    Mom was going to take care of the kids while Kat and I went on the TeXSive rally in Oklahoma next week, but we are now forced to back out, so we can be close should anything happen.

    My thoughts and prayers go out to WK's mom and all that are affected,,, hopefully a speedy recovery.

      You are in my prayers. My family is praying as well. More so than ever, I have leaned that family is the most important thing that you have. We each have our own and then we have this group here. We hear about family relatives in the hospital a lot but when It happens to you, it really hits home.

                Hi John, Wildkat,
                I doubt that prayers from a sour old agnostic like myself will be of much help but please accept my positive thoughts and best wishes for Mom's speedy recovery and her continued good health thereafter.

                          She must be getting better...

                          she wanted to make certain she had her make-up on this afternoon... then she apologized for messing up John's birthday and our rally plans for next week... gotta love her (and I do)
                          She is a really great Mom... and yes... I told her she wasn't messing up anything... Her getting better is a great gift!

                          She's had a chance to meet some of you and she thinks a lot of you and this group. She knows what some here have done for us in the past and the support shown and we have passed on your well wishes to her.
