Hi Prom I am trying to work up to guru status but I type so slow it will take a lifetime I spent some time up in your neck of the woods in 1968 with a view of Mt Olymlpus out the back door. Ft Lewis and surounding area is buitful. I would like to ride out there again with some time to ride around.

Chop is truly a guru in his own class. The guy never stops trying new stuff. But I understand he does have a business to run and is limited to the amount of time he can spend here.

this is my first forum that i spent alot of time in, i don't know how other places operate, if there is status to the nice round number of a thou.

no i don't innovate here, i just imitate, i like these bikes, and the conversation here, and i have learned quite a bit, i could scan the posts and lend my 2 cents, when appropriate when i'm confident as to veracity ( triggering debate) or lack therof (triggering yet again debate) of any statements that i may make, it may be a contribution of sorts.

Truth be told... One only learns by being exposed to differing opinions.
Intellegence isn't so much what one knows, but how wisely one uses the information.

In my business have meet/socialized with people from every strata of our society. From janitors to CEO's, scientists at Berkley and SRI labs to general contractors, a politician here and there and their flunkies. (even a few MC techs) Would be a much better world if intelligence and common sense were more prevalent than the multitude of cunning SOB's out there. Most amazing to me is when you point out a fatal flaw in there reasoning and you get that blank empty look in return....begin to wonder how they got where they are. Of course there are XSeptions, Prom for XSample
