Sounds like fun. A little out of my reach though. Guess I'll have to join "The Crippled Ol' Biker Bastardize."

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
    I've been riding since 1959.

      Smile!

Here's a crappy pic I took using an old webcam, sorry about the lack of quality.

        Strayla,
Any lack of focus is more than made up by sheer volume.

            Hi Stralya,
Gawd, are you old enough to remember that TV series? Yootha Joyce in "The Rag Trade" in glorious black & white. Or perhaps a different show but still about the garment industry. As I remember, the original line was "never mind the quality, feel the width".

Force myself to shave once a week from March to October, November stop shaving and cutting hair till March.

Hair is cut short now, due to a lot of it going awol. Used to prefer it long, always worked outside, never needed the clean shaven short hair look for work. Longer hair and facial hair also helps keep sunburn off ears and neck.

                        Hi Stralya,
we still see re-runs of "Keeping up appearances." Onslow is my hero.
But getting back to beards, buddy Geoff wears a short goatee & mustache. Not odd in itself but he also sports a full head-shave. He went cue-ball to keep his wife company when she lost her hair to chemo. He kept the haircut even after that incredibly courageous lady died because she said it looked good on him.

That's the best reason ever to stay cueball!

Good on him, words fail me.
