The only thing I haven't done is clean the ignition switch contacts. I'll do that and soon as I'm finished the engine rebuild I'll see how that goes.

    Thanks mate,

Usually changes, but I go from Goatee in the spring and summer to beard in the fall and winter. I usually change it when ever I get a "wild hair" to.

My job in the Air Force makes me shave daily, but you best believe that when I get out I'll be sporting one hell of a beard!

              Beards in service

              Hi Joshua,
once you muster out of the airforce you could sign up for the Royal Navy. Just say, "permission to cease shaving Sir?" I believe you have 6 weeks to show a decent beard growth and it's all or nothing, "cease shaving" means exactly that, full beard or no beard.

Well the poll does not have an option for me.

                I am not clean shaven.

I cannot grow a beard, lol.

It grows in allright under my chin and my moustache comes in allright, but it refuses to grow in on my cheeks. So I guess what I am saying is that I need the option: "Tries to grow a beard but fails!"

I've had a beard ever since I could, though, I did shave it off once - about 28 yrs ago - scared myself and half the neighbourhood to death so I grew it back. Then about 3 yrs ago I decided to see how a goatee would look. Wasn't too bad so I left it until last year when knee replacements were better dealt with when not having to stand in front of a mirror to shave. However, spring came this year - just like every other year - and, back to the goatee. Though naturally white/gray, it's currently dark blonde to nicely contrast my (naturally white) blonde hair. Then another lame brained idea hit and I decided that if I was going to ride a bike then I should look like a biker... whatever that is! So, like some other throwbacks to the sixties n seventies, the decision was made to let the hair grow longer, the moustache overhang the lower lip and the goatee to just fly in the wind.
Oh well, I'll grow up someday... maybe

Used to have a full beard when I was young.
Now and for the last 15 years I have a well kept goat.
I am on the ERT (emergency response team) at work and we have to don full face SCBA to do rescue and fire suppression so I have to be able to get a face seal. Miss the beard

EZ, I've always wondered, why are SCBA cylinders worn valve-down?

I have had a short beard for the last 10 years or so. Starts to bug me if it gets too long.

Full beard, short and white. Twenty years ago when I first started wearing it, my ex-wife was visiting her mother in PA with my two boys. She hadn't seen me for a month and didn't know about the beard until I picked her up in Philly. When the boys fell asllep on the way back, she let me know how much she missed me. I don't know, with the beard, maybe she thought she was getting some strange...
