I started this goatee sometime in the early 90s (can't remember exactly when, I drank alot then).
Can't say that I would call it a goatee, it's been more of a Ladies bicycle seat than anything. My wife's Quite fond of it, would probably divorce me if I shaved it off.

        OK, it worked

Now would that be a biker beard?

Best excuse there is for not shaving........
my initials "mro" also stand for (ladies only) MR, "O "

Have a mustache, sorta, since about 72.
When finnaly decided to grow a beard.....as the wiskers grew they be mostly white, more than my head and I'm not into the Chris Cringle look (yet).

Had a full beard and moustache until June. I have taken the beard off periodically through the ages and let it grow back, but always had the moustache.

The trouble all started when I let the beard come back in the winter. SWMBO swore I had bald spots coming in while it was in the "Don Johnson" stage. As it got longer we realized that my hair had turned white in those spots. I lived with it until one morning it looked as if half my moustache was missing. Turns out the right side of my moustache had succumbed to the Albino genes somehow turned loose in my mid life. Against my better judgement, I let SWMBO get some of that moustache color. After applying it, I ended up with a dark beard and moustace with blonde spots where the white used to be. Even worse.

So I just shaved the whole mess off. I miss the moustache, but I do look younger. Now I am hoping and praying I don't commit a similar error with that bald spot on the back of my knucklehead.

I tend to prune my beard back once or twice a summer but I let it grow the rest of the year...

                        Ten minutes my arse!

                        Hey Geezer again,

I was scrolling through your website and I was wondering, could one of your regulators fix my indicators not blinking at idle? I was going to edit the post above this one but the computer said my 10 minutes editing time was up...LOL

Probably but I always recommend cleaning all the connections first (including the contacts in the ignition switch) first.

With the stock regulator/rectifier the bike doesn't charge at an idle but with my unit full charging comes at 1200 RPM. You will get some charging at an idle with one of my reg/rec units but how much depends on idle speed. The Mongrel would idle at 500 RPM when fully warmed up and it would charge just a little at that speed.

The Mongrel has a new owner and I need to make one of these for my new ride (1979 standard.)
