I just saw someone talking about this on another forum. If it is as good as the other por-15 products, it is probably awesome.

Being the wonderfully helpful person that I am I wanted to try to post the thread where someone had made a bead blast box. Unfortunately the search left me with 5 more pages of tech tips I haven't read yet.
Theres a ****load of info here!!
This should work for the theme I was going for however. I need to redo a few Jeep Rims and Jingus of course.
    Thanks for the info.

Do you want it done right or do you want me to do it?

It does say that it will seal a motorcycle fuel tank without flaking... THAT sounds better than the Kreme treatment anyway. It also has a product just for that, but doesn't write it up as much as this Glisten PC.... maybe they meant sealing the OUTSIDE?

I get tired of polishing the bits and pieces.. then have them start corroding again after a couple months. I sure hope it works though... all the hours of scrubbing through that old yellow clearcoat that came on these from the factory doesn't bring back particularly good memories. I'd hate to have to do that again with this stuff if it didn't work as promised.

Oh yeah, to follow up his factory clear-coat removal tip. I discovered yesterday that after a few days soak in B-12 chem-dip, the factory clear pealed off like kitchen plastic wrap.

          Glisten PC

I used that stuff on the fork legs of my XS650 a few years ago. It has held up very well. It's as clear as when it was first applied.

I put it on with a brush and I would not do that again. It did not flow out smootlhly as advertised. Plan to spray it on for good results.

I have no idea how to remove this stuff once it's set up. I can't say if aircraft stripper will remove this stuff.

When I refurbed my engine cases I used a product called "English custom polish" It is a museum quality polish that did a real good job on my parts. It also claims to contain metal protectors that prevent re-oxidation on maintained parts. they claim that their product does not contain chemicals that promote oxidation. It is also claimes to be PH balanced. It worked very well for me and my cases still look good. I however do not put a ton of miles on my bike.

I'd be interested if the stuff really does work. Logged WAYYYYYY many hours just cleaning it up and would like to keep it that way without all the extra work. SWMBO would like that too...
