Andreas lives out north of Spokane... maybe he's raised his parts prices!

absolutely no rust, scratches, ding or dents
May be a bit pricey, but near perfect is hard to find.

Kind of pricey but also VERY rare so I will not be surprised if he gets what he's looking for. Sh** I saw a pilot box upper half only go for 174 dollars recently.

what guy would put it on concrete for the pictures, you know that may mar the pipes, and i don't care how careful he is, just not proper handling.

It does... the two pipes are what it seems to be resting on...

$1000 (okay $999.00) is a lot... especially to most of us on a limited budget... but somewhere out there are the few that can actually afford to put a lot of money into this set... and they sure are shiny...

don't forget it's plus shipping, how about looking for a whole bike like maximan's last aquisition. and maybe the pipes with that would be goodenuff.

a couple of weeks ago there was a complete new set minus the inner downtubes on ebay for 599 dollars.
Over the last months I bought a new and complete set but part by part for around 500 us dollars in total.
One thing is for sure: the quality of the stock pipes back then was way better than the stock pipes produced much later as replacement.

Now thats a pretty good deal.
I XSxpect to finish referbing a set for a standard some time this summer. Already have about 20 hours in em and about half done with my part, then expect it to cost $250 to $350.00 to re-chrome.
