This is a total waste of bandwith. I for one do not care for it.
But since I do not like to have any kind of censor, I just ignore it.

          Time to chill!!

          Hey Midnight and others,

The Webmaster established this Forum for discussions and such about ALL OTHER OFF TOPIC material other than MC's, XS11's! So..it's your right to post what you want....as long as it's not blatant porn, or stuff from "Faces of Death"!

I'll admit that in my youth while in Texas, I went sport shooting with my best friend shooting wild jack rabbits with shotguns and such, but that was 30+ years ago. I don't think I would do that now. But this practice is still considered normal behavior in many parts of the country, and so a video of it is not terribly objectionable in itself, compared to if someone were shooting dogs/cats, or pets. I realize that many people have taken offense at this due to their concern for general animal rights and such and have their right to post their opinions regarding same.

So...feel free to post comments positive or negative regarding this practice, but do not engage in Disrespectful remarks towards individuals....flame wars will not be tolerated.

Remember Ted Nugent and Politics......best to just avoid hot topic debates!

I'm just going to ignore the crap he posts, and let the other moderators worry about him. I know a few of the other mods are disgusted by it but who are we to judge? I find it very offensive and immature, but the Man said he can post it. I would suggest to all that you just go to your control panel and put his handle into the ignore list, as I have done, then when he posts, you'll never see what irrevelant garbage he has posted.

I won't even cut down a tree, unless I absolutely have to.

It's not about being a tree hugger, it's about respect for life.

I have, however, on occassion, had to trap gophers, as they had become a nuisance.

It's like I tell the Dandelions, in my lawn, if they would all grow in the flower beds, I'd leave them alone!

That's no excuse. I work at a hospital and I see too many people shot with empty firearms. 1 is too many.
All firearms are loaded 100% of the time.
BTW, I am an avid shooter.

I consider this a valid post for my #2000. No fluff this time.

I have been missing all of the interesting posts (maby a good thing) Anyway, I also admit to shooting a good number of prairie dogs in the past. I normally wouldn't do that but they were destroying hundreds of acres of land for crops. Have you seen those huge colonies? I am not a animal lover of any sort but I cannot condone the meaningless killing of animals. We are given dominion over all animals and we should not abuse that responsibility.

                            Context is everything

I wasn't going to reply to this post... but... well... whatever...

I, personally... hug trees... blow kisses to flowers... and talk to the animals... but I also understand that the little buggers can be a nuisance... (just ask me about the gang of felines that occasionally haunt our yard... spray our cars.. and anything else they can get their behinds behind)...
However... I think the main problem here is that not everyone has to deal with this on a daily basis... and not everyone here enjoys seeing an animal shot (I would be one of those).

Definitely a hot topic... a free land it is... but consideration for others in this area would be greatly appreciated... I'm certain the farmers hold this as a much needed duty... but those of us who dwell in the city... well... not needed quite so much...
