I'll qualify my 8-10k a year by saying I put about 1500-2000 on the 80 SG, tops, with the rest on whatever other bike(s) I have in the garage (currently a 2001 ZRX 1200). If my XS wasn't in such nice shape and low original miles (just over 19,000) I'd probably ride it more.

Guess I need to find another XS to be a daily rider, then I can say I put most of those miles on an XS!

BTW, ZRX carbs have the same spacing as the XS11... http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35462

Congradulations BNE. Good to ride. Easier now that you have moved south, isn't it! I really like to hear from people I have ridden with. I have no doubt that there are many people who ride as much or more than us...If they are on this forum, and ride even more than us, we haved probably seen them at rallys. (Many of the XSives in the Great White North ride a lot, making many rallys, but must park for months at a time due to snow & ice, TRUE riders, without year round riding possibilities).

I see at least 6 votes in the high mileage zone, but not many posts to identify Who? Have you seen them?

Curious...Who are all these folks reporting 20. 25. 30,000 miles per year?

Hey Brent ...30000 miles aint nuthin...over on ST-Owners.com the biggest mileage rider rode over 100000 miles last year,,I kid you not. They have a mileage tracker that people can add up their mileage. And yes moving south has extended my riding season. That and theres just soo many more roads to ride down here than there were in NJ and NC is 7 times the size of NJ
As for who the high mileage folks are here at Ch.11 well other than yourself...and possibly Earl G... I dunno anyone else in the high mileage LD rider category.
