I received the banner today. It looks pretty good. It will be displayed proudly, hanging from the rain gutters on my house. There is a small note book for all to sign, so we will all sign it before it departs to JAX for the Texsive Rally.

Anybody else have a rally before May 26th who needs it? If not then it could be sent to me after the current rallies are over. Will save $$ over sending it back to Jerry.

                  In the mail

The banner flew proudly over the Meeting of the Minds this past weekend, and is now on it's way to Dale-1 in preparation for the TeXSive Rally in April. It may smell like BBQ smoke still, but that just gives it more character. It'll make you hungry, too.

                    banner moving again

It ran me a little more to insure and etc etc.... but, considering we had such an awesome TeXSive Spring Thing..... I wasn't taking any chances! It's now headed its way to NY for 66 and crew to fly over their rally point.

Ya'll have a good ride..... oops translation to (You guys have a good ride.)

Keep the banner moving..... who's next?

Banner arrived a couple days ago. I have not opened the tube though, I don't want to waste any BBQ smell without a crowd around!

                          oh yeah

I forgot to mention........ the barbecue smell has dissipated and... there are also 5 (I think) small bungee cords in there for hanging help... I had to add something to the tube... They are the perfect color for an XS11 banner.
The note pad is in there as well.... we had about 50 percent of the riders sign it. You know how unruly them XSives are. Don't let the Texas air out if you are in a crowd.... no need to panic the New Yorkers into moving to clean air.... (I know I know... you aint in the city), but it was too much to pass that one up!
