New Patch, Yea or Nay?

Question about Graphics file formats!

One of our members has provided us with a possible alternative source for acquiring patches. They stated that IF they received the images for the patches in Vector Graphics file formats of

.cdr, .eps, or .ai .

, that it could help bring the price down!

Since I upgraded my computer to WinXp, I haven't reloaded my Photoshop prog. But from what I understand, Photoshop is a Pixel level editting prg, not necessarily a line vector editting program!?

What program would I need to use to Create or convert a Bitmap image into Vector Line formats like above, or would I have to CREATE the graphic using that type of program?? Thanks in advance!

Try a google search for 'raster to vector conversion freeware'. Looks to be lots of products out there...

If you need her help she will be glad to be of assistance
