Does anyone know any motorcycle Police officers? I was behind a couple of them today and I thought that I was seeing double. They moved their feet at the same time, stopped at the same time, moved their head at the same time. Do they go through a special training course or do they pick it up naturally. I must say that I was very impressed. I wanted to follow them for a change just to watch them.

Now if they were BEHIND you... and they were moving like that in unison... chances are there was only one, and you were being pulled over for DUI. (Underage, to boot!)

I have not taken this, but I have heard good things about them. And you can use your own bike.

You will probably already want to have MSF BRC and ERC done, and the ERC is reported to be kinda hard already (I am thinking about taking it this summer, but undecided).
I've been in more than one Hemisphere, and I wrote a book to help you do it too (or just prepare better for that week long road trip). Going Small, not just for the little guys.

I saw two motocycles in the Stadium near my house. I thought it was some kind of advanced MSF class. I decided to go up there to see which class it was and ask if I could sign up. As I approaced, I saw that they were police motorcycles. One guy was standing there while the other guy was driving through cones. I started talking and I found out that this was the 2 week training course required to be a motorcycle policeman. WOW. I have never seen such a small guy drop and pick up such a big bike. They were doing things I could have never thought possible on a fully loaded HD. He was showing me all of the menuvers they do and I was impressed. I looked at the officer's bike who had been doing it a wile and I noticed that his floor board was ground through all the way to the rubber padding. THey do full lock full lean turns. After I left I went to the park to practice turning. Now I can almost do a full lock turn all the way through. There is no way I could do a full lean turn on an XS. I picked up some really good info while over there. It was cool how they used the enginge to right the bike when it falls over. They pick it up as far as they can and let the rear wheel drive the bike forward with the wheel all the way towards them. Cool
