We tried to make a statement here in Texas last week by trying to get Kinky Friedman elected as governer. He only carried 12% of the votes, but I loved his campaign slogan so much, I just had to vote for him. It was:

TC, you might want to go through a list of all the latest users. Looking at the latest enrollee, allaboutph, his website leads to a phentermine search site. Another favorite for spammers. I'd be willng to bet there a lot more than you think.

The guys that run the site should really consider upgrading the boards to the latest version of vBulletin, or, if that is cost prohibitive, they could go to phpbb, which is a very robust and completely free (open-source) board script. The newer boards thwart the member-creating scripts that we are probably seeing a lot of now.

I have experience setting up both a php (Nuke and Post-Nuke) framework and phpbb, and would be happy to help with the switchover. I could mock up the whole new site and build it pretty much to their order on some hosting space I use for testing. The changeover could be done in a day (a few hours, even) once the framework is built.

I tell ya, a post-nuke framework would be beautiful for this site, add a TON of new features (not just great forums), and provide for growth pretty much in perpetuity. Best of all, it is all open-source.....completely free.

I was just watching some of the local election returns. Some of those clowns ran unopposed! Man, had I known that...
Just think of the possabilities for me to meet women!
