    "Two boobs"

No, it's not what you think... though it's fun to dwell on the subject!
that most new bikers have a wreck within 1 month of starting riding!
Had another crash estimate today. Two new riders(male and fem) decided for their first bike to get a ZX11. Both have layed it down once... and the bloody thing doesn't even have 100 miles on it yet! (They had ArmorAll-ed the complete surface of the tires (slicker than snot on a doorknob).
Vast majority of damage I see are new riders on their first bikes. Well, yeah, I suppose that makes sense, but at least start out on an older model.

      Thank you, thank you!

      No applause... just money.

Thanks for the reminder. I bet I don’t forget again.
      I'll bet you won't either...

You know... the sliding through the intersection wasn't really as humiliating as the garage door (why yes... I can hit the broadside of a barn, thank you... AND the narrow side as well). It kind of had that "cool" factor... at least it was that point where the lights had just changed and there were no cars moving through the intersection at the time.

At any rate... glad you were able to saddle up again. There is nothing more liberating than getting out on your own two wheels... and as a female... it has an added special feel about it.

As for getting that XS one day... I have a feeling you would have some very willing XSives up there to help you modify one to fit your needs.

I saw this... and it reminded me of something that Wildkat may have written. Read the story before looking at the picture. Wildkat... Just kiddin' !

          To my darling husband,

Before you return from your overseas trip I just want to let you know about the small accident I had with the pickup truck when I turned into the driveway. Fortunately not too bad and I really didn't get hurt, so please don't worry too much about me.

I was coming home from Wal-Mart, and when I turned into the driveway I accidentally pushed down on the accelerator instead of the brake. The garage door is slightly bent but the pick up fortunately came to a halt when it bumped into your Ferrari.

I am really sorry but I know with your kind hearted personality you will forgive me. You know how much I love you and care for you my sweet heart.

I cannot wait to hold you in my arms again.

          Your loving wife.
PS: I have attached a picture of the accident.

This look anything like the garage door after you were through (Literally??) lol.

Hey Wildkat, I saw that ad this morning. Good thing I have a good running bike and it's getting cold out. Then again the wife has been thinking about learning to ride and she thinks my bike is a little too big...

Yes... well... might be an option if only I could reach the pedals...

How tall are you Kat? At 5 foot one-ish, I have a serious problem putting my feet down on something this big. Too bad for me. The possibilities would be endless otherwise.

Are you gonna let Tod get away with that last post?

                Hmmmm... I see your point...

John did quite a bit of work to get Foster Child low enough for me to handle and I'm 5'5"... The Honda Shadow is a nice looking bike too and though I'm not familiar with it's stats... the Honda I had was a great bike!

Are you gonna let Tod get away with that last post?
You know... I was trying to be nice and not hijack your post with that one... but if you don't mind... I will address that here.

First... your letter from the wife is suspect as no self-respecting woman would have taken the truck when there is a Ferrari in the garage.

Second... well.. I think the first point took care of everything else.

The woman was obviously framed... My take on it is the guy saw on T.V. this elevated parking system... ran down and got some low quality materials and did a DYI project. Once completed, he drove the Ferrari into the garage, grabbed a bunch of friends and a few beers and just as he drove the truck onto the platform to raise it over the Ferrari... said... "Hey y'all watch this!" Famous last words from any redneck... nothing good ever follows that...

Hey Mike... she thinks the XS is too big for a starter? It is a lot of power (especially if there is a height problem)... great for a second bike though.

Somehow I just knew that admitting my "shortcomings" would become fodder for the likes of Tod the Mischief Maker.

Kat, to me viewing the world from 5'5" would truly be an uplifting experience.

As for viewing the world through eyes at 5' 5"... At Halloween when you wear that outfit with the 4" spike heels and fishnet stockings... You know the one... with the leather whips? Then you will have that uplifting experience!! lol.

But I would have to agree with the earlier statement. I don't honestly believe that a woman is going to drive a Ford pick up when there is a Ferrari in the garage. Maybe that's what really happened... pickup was in the garage and she drove the Ferrari UNDER it?? lol.
