  • not baffled

I have a Mac (I think) 4 into one header I won off Ebay. As someone else noted, there is no baffle in the muffler.
Anyone have an unused baffle they'd be willing to part with?

My plan for this is to fabricate a 'Y' where the muffler section attaches to the header collector and run 2 SuperTrapp mufflers. Using the discs I should be able to dial in the backpressure to stock and have a very quiet bike.

Right now the exhaust is drying with it's 1st coat of paint before baking in the oven to cure it. Wife and kids are gone for a week so I can do these things.

If you are going to use the plates on the Supertrapp mufflers to dial in the back presure, what do you need baffels for?

The baffle is for the interm before/while the 'Y' is being made (and I save-up the $300 for 2 new SuperTrapps)

good plan, I run a single supertrapp and love it. I do not use any of the discs on the back and love the throaty wide open sound. Not sure about the neighbors though?

If you want that pipe to actually improve performance you best pull that steel baffle out of there and drill all the holes at least 50% bigger. Unless yours is different then mine you can't put baffle material in that pipe or the air flow will be grossly deduced. I have my steel baffle drilled out and the stop plate is removed.
