              Thank you

The viewing is today and the funeral tomorrow... I'm kind of responsible for taking care of her apartment and belongings at this point so I have something to keep me busy for a few days... so that helps...

Still hard to not pick up the phone and call her 3 - 5 times a day and I'm sure after everything slows down, it will hit me a bit harder... but like I said... I know she's so much better off... and I'm good with that...

              Thank you again

Just remember that you can't change the past. What was said was said, what was done was done and what ever happened, happened for a reason, just remember considering all that she still loved no matter what.

                  Kat,
Sorry about your loss. I know John will be a BIG shoulder for a while, and no, you never seem to forget completely. Enjoy the thoughts you have, as all the good things stay at the top.
I'm glad you all had the time to say goodbye in your own way, as that helps more than most people can know.
Remember, even from out here we still will send our support and thoughts.

So sorry for you Kat, there is alot to be said for the Hospcie unit, they really went out of the way to make us feel special when my father was there. They are really a great bunch of people.
Think happy thoughts and remember her before all this started, she's at peace now.

                              Thank you all

I've been holding up surprisingly well, but I have a pretty awesome support system...

An 80 mile ride yesterday didn't hurt anything and it looks like another one on Friday (the weather forecast is for sunny and a high of 73)

I think it's God's way of saying "It's all good"
