Sailor's Plea: To ride his machine 1 more time, his story!

It was an honor to get the bike going for Sailor. I am happy to know he did get at least one more ride before he went. Let me know if I can help with anything, as you both are part of the XS11 brotherhood.
Let your friends help you, for it is hard. We will all remember Sailor, those of us who had the pleasure to meet him, and those on the board who got to know him through the posts.

Truely sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers are with you. It's never easy to lose someone you love. Just remember that he is in a better place.

I can't begin to tell you how sorry Deb and I are at your loss. Knowing that it was coming makes it no easier. The only comfort is knowing that his troubles are over. Sailor is riding now, but without the weak legs or the hampered speech. Riding with his friends who have gone before him.
In the few times I have met Sailor, I realized what a special man he was. He was full of fight and drive and adventure.
The XS family is diminished by his passing.

Most sorry to hear of Sailors passing. I do think I know how he felt, a good friend of mine also has terminal cancer. Wouldn't you know it, he just recently won a new motorcycle! He got about 150 miles on it before he got too weak to hold it up but he is determined to try it again this spring.
