I want to thank all of you , who knew and didn't know her .I now know we are part a special family . I don't know what to say except that I'm here and healing . the leg will take months and as soon as that's better I need shoulder work I've been reading and watching and trying to get myself to let you all know I'm still here and healing.

                      Finally a rest.

We attended the funeral services for Tracy yesterday. Brent and I were there with Randy Rago from Queens and Tom Cale from Port Huron, Canada, and many friends and relatives.

The preacher quoted scripture and had a nice sermon at the viewing and again at the graveside service. We had a nice reception after and most of us returned to our regular lives, outwardly changed little. Of course the family returns to a life changed outwardly and inwardly by this sudden tragedy, and again our thoughts and prayers go with them. Healing takes time, longer in some and not so long in others. Some day the memories of wife / Mom / grandma / sister / daughter will come with more smiles and less with a sense of sorrow and loss.

Would that there was more to do for such a nice lady, but these services are for the living, to give a sense of closure, a reference point in our lives about Tracy's passing, and then a point that starts the rest of our lives. I left there yesterday knowing I was a better person for having known Tracy, and I can now begin to accept her passing.

Ralph, anything you need, you know. I'm with you. Heal fast, my friend. We have to plan next year's big trip, and Tracy will be along in spirit, be sure of that!

I am home in GA after returning from funeral service for Tracy in PA. I spent a day with Ralph & family following the service. I made the aquaintence of some of his really sweet Grand Children.

ride report - It was mostly a sad, hard, ride
