Parting out a 78 xs1100

I picked up a 78 xs1100 for some parts and the rest is up for grabs. I want the Motor, Exhaust and Carbs, everything else is untested. Let me know what you want and I will let you know the price.... I will let everything go for 175.00 if someone wants it.

If I don't sell anything I may just have to hard tail this thing. Than I would have a cafe and a chopper... the wife does not like that idea :-( so I have to sell "most" of it.

I will take everything off this weekend and take it to the post office Monday, I will try for a flat rate box.

Just keep in mind the calipers and master may need to be rebuilt, I have no idea of there current condition.

The calipers from a 78, or any Standard, are not going to mount up to the forks for an SG, or any Special. I believe the MC is different between the two also, although I think it is only due to the different handle bar angles.

No, the SG uses a totally different system. You need the brakes from a special rather than a standard.
