      He would have to replace the forks, triple trees and everything, the entire front end. That said, if he did so, he would not have the special's weird calipers, but rather the standards which are cheaper to get pads for and easier to find pads for as well. So, if willing to make the switch (and there are issues because the special light has issues mounting onto the standard trees and forks, too much space IIRC but that's much less of an issue than the other way where you have to cut some out), it's probably not a bad swap. You also lose the air over oil forks, but that's not really an issue for a lot of folks anyways.

        rear brake parts....

        hey there stepka....very interested in the rear master cylinder diaphragm.....would $20 do if you can shoot me a photo that it is in good condition?!.....thanx in advance!......ride hard, ride safe....ross

                I will be playing in the garage tomorrow night, as long as work let me. I would sell you the entire master for 30.00, if thats cool? I will fill it with fluid and do a pressure test on it.

                  hey there stepka.....would be very interested!....$30 sounds great!...one question, does that include freight?....let me know....basically i just need the diaphragm, but extra parts are always good!....just need to know that it is in good shape and is not messed up......the one i have sinks into the master cylinder and pushes fluid out (not good)!....possible to get a photo of it?!....if you can't put the photo up here, hit me up at pattern1041966@yahoo.com .....hope to hear from ya soon & have a great weekend!......ride hard, ride safe....ross
