I've never thought of using those little reflector things in the un-used mounting holes for the lowers! I have the little caps to put in mine when the well nuts are removed (I take the lowers off in the summer), but the reflectors might be a better option!

Any pics of the trunk? I'm guessing the shipping will be 1/2 the cost of the trunk, so I'd like to see it. Thanks.

No problem. I'll take some photos within the next day or two and PM them to you. Also, if you get me an address (or at least a zip code) I might be able to give you an estimate on shipping as well.

Sorry, renegade. I decided to keep the bags. They're in the paint shop right now, getting some new colors so they match my bike. They're just too darn convenient not to keep! (That, and riding around with a backpack is turning into a pain in the neck.)

Keep an eye out, here and on E-bay. Hard bags seem to be relatively common.

As a new member here I guess I'll just ask. Does your trunk have the vetter lights on it or s it blank on the back side. I have a full Yamaha Dressed G model but not the trunk. Let me know please and we can go from there. Thank you.

That trunk is NOT the Vetter version. Similar, but not the same.

As was said, the trunk isn't a Vetter. There isn't anything on the back except for a few fake bullet holes the PO decided to put on there. I do have pics, if you're interested.
