Yep an '81 XS 1100H Venturer

Too high a price for a non runner IMO

    1979 XS1100SF (stock-euro mods planned)
    1984 XV700L Virago (to be hot-modded)
    1983 XJ750MK Midnight Maxim (semi-restored DD)
    1977 XS650D ( patiently awaiting resto)

Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.

It might be OK, but those are the wrong bags.

In my opinion, the bike looks nice enough to be worth the $1900. If that had a '78 engine/tune with it, I'd probably buy it. Always loved that bike!

          Ha.

          Ha ha.

          HAHAHAHAAAAAAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!

Yeah, he's dreaming. Drop the 1 on the front, then maybe. 'course, sounds like it's a dealership, so that explains a lot.
          Currently XS-less.

As already saids the bags are not correct for 81 and vetter top box.
Price for running well would be ok but we all know that sitting for years will require all the usual carb cleaning and wiring issues. Could easily be brought up to an excellent example of a Venturer.
Or chopped up to make it your own ....and drive some of us CRAZY

                Is the fairing right ?
OK wrong bags and tour pack.
Stock exhaust that might not be plugged with rust ? Still the head pipes are crusty.
If it was running sweet what would you expect to pay ?

The fairing and lowers are correct for the Venturer...its worth whatever you pay for it...but in my book that would be around $900...YMMV though

Not that it matters any, but the seat has been re-done and is not the original cover pattern.

                      Venturer

Also has the wrong grips. That shop is advertising it for the owner. They say that the owner has done some work to it and has $2400.00 in it?

Still may need a lot more done to it. Hard to say without it running or looking at it in person.

An "almost" shining example. Located about 4 hours from north Georgia.

Since we're pickin' it apart........could be way low on fuel, having petcocks in RESERVE position.
All in all, looks to be a decent 'runner'....with a little TLC applied.

Non runner is a red flag to me. Looks nice but I'd need to ride it.
