You'll need to upload your pics to a 3rd party like Photobucket, etc...
Then copy the img line, and paste that here.
You can't load pics directly here on the site.
    Hope that helps ya.

Good that it went to a younger person who wants to keep it on the road. A total of 250 of the 1980 MNS and 250 of the 1981 MNS were produced. 500 total for both years.

That's tough to believe. I'm not saying it isn't true, because I have no info to the contrary, but I sure have seen a lot of them.

I have had 6. 4 LHs and 2 LGs. The serial numbers on a couple of mine were above what I thought would have been a run of 250 would have been

Wow, that does seem like a really low number for a production run of the Midnights ...

........and is..........just an 'urban' myth, at best.

Not that it matters, least produced AND sold model was the 81H(Venturer)........IMHO.

Does anyone really believe that there were only 250 MNS produced in each of the two model years. I can remember seeing 3 at one time in 1980 at the Yamaha dealership an acquaintance of mine owned in Cleveland, and he was not the largest dealer in town. I would venture a guess that the number was probably closer to 2500 or more per model year. Next thing you know the gold plating will be real.

No, many threads about this. Serial numbers do not coincide with the 250 number. Also somebody said one to every dealer. Thousands of dealers.

                              Number of MNS

I have no proof that those 250 numbers are absolute facts. It was information given to me verbally a few years back. Sounds like we need some verification to settle the dispute. I would definitely like to know for sure.

                              How can we find out?
