      It just needs an airbox and an aux fuel tank, then it will be good to go! The engine is from an earlier model.

        sharp observations that I overlooked...but then I figure these will be critiqued anyhow...dont kill the messenger...There are many more out there but the ones I have chosen are the best or most interesting (to me) ones out there. Actually I see a disproportionate number of 1980s' forsale compared to all other years.

              It would seem 1980 was a good sales year for the XS1100, especially the Special. I think Suzuki knocked them off the thrown with the GS1100 or maybe even a 16 valve GS1000. I'm not really up on my Suzuki history, so no one should quote me here.

                        IIRC, that would of been the badass GS1100E.
                        81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

                          IIRC, that would of been the badass GS1100E........till 83 when Honda's V65 Sabre kick everyones backside for its WHOLE 3yr. production.......then of course came the V-Max.......thenBusa......then a toss up depending on rider, the ZRX14.........then back to the NEW V-Max.....and now.......hanen't a clue.
