I'm also interested in opinions on whether I'm better off splitting the rig and selling separate.
The Velorex hack is selling for $3200 now although I paid $1600 for new it in '96.
The XS is probably worth $1500?
            Is it worth more together?

sounds like its worth more parted out... but if it were me...i wouldnt part it out...just ask the sums you feel each is worth for the whole show and keep it togetheR...a complete pkg might be just what someone wants so it might be more desirable that way...just my .02 cents

I recently thought I wanted to sell my XJ650/Velorex outfit and also wondered whether it would be worth more separated. I had a sidecar specific front tire which I would have had to replace, but I also think there is real value to having a well sorted and handling combination. You probably had considerable time and effort involved in getting your rig set up properly.

At the end of the day, I decided to keep mine as a ready reserve to my newer Sportster/Texas Ranger outfit.

                Good luck with the sale.

The rig has been sold to a gentleman who wants to take his family for short weekend rides.
                  Thanks for the interest.
