      Thanks!

      Thanks, Marco!

I was at my local bike shop this weekend, and mentioned to the head mechanic, that I was selling Scorpion, and he looked down, and said, "That's too bad...you should really keep it!"

Oh great... now I am re-questioning selling it! Argh!!

More mods I forgot to mention

I added a replacement voltage regulator from Geezer. Nice!

I installed a TKat fork brace, soon after I got Scorpion. Made a huge difference!

I wired in a "Back-Off" brake light modulator. I wired in the "Wig-Wag" one where the two brake bulbs flash independently of each other, during braking.

Installed big "Emgo" mirrors, with convex mirrors.

Installed new Molex plugs for the alternator, both male and female pieces. (Got them from XJBikes.com. Seller is "Chacal.")

Just installed a new Duracell AGM battery, this month, from Batteries Plus.

Greg, I know exactly how you feel! I've second-guessed myself with every bike I've sold over the years ... you just want to keep them all!

But alas, money, time and space keep that from happening ... is there even the slightest chance you might keep it, or is the sale inevitable?

My friend, Jack, asked that I bump my listing, so he could see it.

If you haven't sold the bike yet I've been getting the itch to get an xs1100 again....if nothing else I'd enjoy the opportunity to come see the bike being that I'm just down the road from you in Huntsville. I sold my 79 special a few years back.

                  Simplifying my life...

Max, I have an FJR, now, and am having to simplify my life... I never wanted to sell the Scorpion, but it needs to be ridden... it wants to be ridden... and it pains me to see it in the garage... I have a lot of attachemnt to it... after all, it brought me to you all, and I am forever thankful!

Manshack, I still have it. I am rebuling the front calipers, and rebuilding the carbs, so it is "in repair," but You can come by and see it, anytime you like!

Heck, if I get it put back together, we can go do a quick "spirited ride!"

I can understand how a modern sport tour machine can spoil you very quickly. I've had 2 and at the moment only have my XS...but everytime I go more than 200 miles on it I am missing the ST...
