Did the 1980 not have vacuum advance? reason I asked was I saw the #2 carb vacuum nipple capped off.

I saw someone wrote something about the mileage counter looking like it was turned back. I don't know but it doesn't line up like mine does.

The 1980 does have the advance. The PO was probably making the mistake of trying to make it more speedy. Wasted money, and needs to be put back to original.

They have it routed wrong. They put it to the boot vacuum port.

haha, that's probably why they are trying to sell it. Cant figure out that clanking noise.

Someone eliminated the Octy, and then moved the vac advance to the boot instead of the carb.

                  Gone

Doesn't normally take very long for a MNS to get gone. This one sold for $1875 - which is surprising. I usually see them going for much more.

Oh well, good luck to the new owner.

                  PS: I want one too!
