    Danger Cycle

I'm no XS11 expert... so I'll leave this to the pros to count the things that don't look right...

When the horse is dead, dismount.

Is that a drum break in the rear? Just one disc in the front? Wacky seat. Standard tank on a special.
I'm no expert on the 78-79s but that looks messed up to me.

The wheels look like an XJ650 or such. Engine looks like an XS11, front end looks liek a mismatch of Special and Standard, as does the rest of it.

          bike

$850 obo for a mutt and doesnt run after rewire with a $1500 investment? its not pretty, but needs to be saved. i have the feeling he's technically had it with the bike and will take less than $500 for it after someone reminds him its been mutilated. maybe he doesnt even know.

Looks like in one of the pictures he has another XS11 frame and engine sitting next to it? What I am wondering is how he got that rear wheel and brake drum configuration to work and what other drive shaft unit he is using. Could he be using 81 or so Virago components on an XS11 frame. To bad there wasn't a good shot of the left side of the bike to show his handy work better.

I may go and look at it as a science experiment... I am curious about the driveshaft also... The PO from hell must have eliminated the rear mc and hooked up a brake rod?? It may be devine intervention that keeps this thing from starting... imagine trying to stop it!

It's an XS1100 morphed with a Virago. The XS1100 is a standard with a Virago front end. Apparently, the Virago rear wheel mates to the XS11 rear drive, or it's mated further up.
