OK, Bob ... let's see ... the G I bought from the original owner who was a cop ... he had it dealer maintained by the numbers. Even kept a log of every cent EVER spent ... unfortunately, this journal he would not part with because he said it contained certain private information ??? ... anyway he had the motor reringed and also a new cam chain put in along the way. A non functioning speedo head came with the bike ... anyone's guess on the mileage but if he was still alive, I could find out. Truth is.. It looks like nothing in the way of mileage is on it. Unfortunately, he passed from prostate cancer a year back ... the speedo shows about 15k ..

It has those VM 33 smooth bore carbs using a twin throttle cable and the SuperTrapp and pods ... pretty lethal combination ... it REALLY goes ... some guys got faster ones but not too many ... Planedick will tell ya'.

Now the F is roughly the same story ...I bought it from it's second owner ... was a mess but oddly enough when I pulled it's plugs after sitting for over 8 years they indicated PERFECT ..i couldn't be happier with this one never been wrecked or dropped that I can tell ... perfect carbs, original exhaust, in reasonable shape but if someone was going to retain it, it should be sent to JetHot pretty soon ... no major holes in the mufflers and there's been one decent repair ... most of the rubber was trashed and I've replaced much of it. Rebuilt the whole hydraulic system, tune and valve adjust, all cables ... new seat ... original paint ... there a few cosmetic things that would still be fun to fix but ... it doesn't need anything.

Make me a reasonable offer ... but PM me and I'll consider it. There both real fun bikes ... could last for many more years.

Wiz they are two very nice bikes you have there and I have had my eyes on them since you posted on craigs. You obviously know your 11's. If I could thin my herd quick enough I would take one of them off of your hands. Who knows I may be able to make it happen. If not good luck in selling them.

Steve, I finally get caught up enough to tear into the '79F parts bike to make a schematic and you sell your bikes.

They look good, man; wish I could afford one.

        Regards,

        Scott
